The Connection Church

The Connection Church

Like a vacation Bible school, but COOLER!

July 7th - 10th

6:00 - 8:30pm

Steeplechase Park in Kyle, TX

Mega Sports Camp provides kids with an opportunity to connect with other kids, caring adults, and most importantly, God. All kids should feel needed, valued and loved. That's why Mega Sports Camp gives kids their own high-energy sports experience while learning about God. You'll see a positive difference in your kids as they learn how God wants them to live through sports related activity.
Kids are very important to us at THE CONNECTION CHURCH. That's because kids are important to God. Our desire is to provide a fun and safe environment for kids, ages 6 -12, to grow in God's love.

At camp, kids get to choose to participate in Baseball, Basketball, Cheerleading, Soccer, or Taekwondo for the week.

What happens at Mega Sports Camp?

Here is what a day at Mega Sports Camp looks like:

5:30pm - Registration: Every day begins at registration. Kids are asked to choose one sport to participate in for the entire camp. Parents sign kids in at the corresponding table. Both get a security wristband and the kids get a Name Tag before heading off to the RALLY ZONE.

6:00pm - Opening Rally: Camp starts with a short, energetic kick-off to the day's activities. Kids and coaches sing high-action songs, lead by professional Puppeteers, receive a warm welcome, and discover the theme and Key Point for the day.

Sports Sessions: Kids choose one sport to focus on during MEGA Sports Camp. They learn new skills, practice them, and then use them in game-related activities. The goal is teamwork rather than competition.

Coach Huddle: A special part of MEGA Sports Camp is the small group (Huddle) time spent reinforcing the Key Point for the day. After their period of positive sports instruction, Huddle Coaches will lead huddle time, with 6 to 8 kids, discussions and prayer dealing with Truth, Confidence, Wisdom and Faith.

Halftime Break: Kids take a moment to catch their breath with a quick snack break at the Free Concession Stand. (We encourage everyone to bring a water bottle for refreshing during sports time).

Halftime Rally: Kids experience an object lesson and a sports story that make the day’s key truths take hold in their hearts.

Closing Rally: Kids enjoy active theme songs and an interactive Bible story based on the theme.

8:30pm - Release Kids: Your child will be released to you only if you have the matching wristband! This ensures that your child is safe.
